I wonder how Laura Bennett would feel if I smacked her upside the head with my ghost 2x4? She's a brain dead moron (that's a technical term). As a mother with all those kids, you'd think she'd have some compassion. But sadly, you can tell by the picture that she's a self centered, self serving Twit. Blogs and magazines are full of opinions and op ed pieces. This is just one more person foaming at the mouth about something she knows nothing about.
I agree that I didn't like the tone of it sometimes--a little disrespectful of our plight. But if she's dealing with parents who are asking for accommodations for kids who aren't even allergic I can see where that can create bad feelings. The way some parents of allergic kids come across can be very off-putting. As a mom of a peanut allergic kid I totally understand the necessity of keeping my son safe. But if I only alienate people in the process I don't think they'll take me very seriously.

Some people don't get it and make fun...but I totally understand and have been in the ER bc of it!
