We used to call them "circus candy" around here until Jax was old enough to realize they were just peanut-shaped and not actual peanuts. They are a favourite snack around here.
My older non PA son thinks these are the devils tools. He won't let us have them because he is afraid his little brother will get confused. Sweet and weird at the same time. ( the boy and the candy)
this little fact cracks me up! i discovered this at easter time while scouring the shelves for peanut free candy for my toddler's plastic eggs who ironically can't have eggs either because he is allergic to both eggs and peanuts. i think next year we'll skip easter.
yes it is funny them call them circus peanuts. I don't think my son or niece would touch them with a ten foot pole because of the name. We have them so warned about peanuts. wish they would call them something else.
