TNX-901. We see where greed and incompetence got us with the US financial sector, and housing markets, and school systems, and health care. Is there nothing that we can just do for the right reason without worrying about our own pockets?Disgusted in RInoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4851559164054858621.post-20919129184998326782009-02-09T08:46:00.000-08:002009-02-09T08:46:00.000-08:00I have been following this issue for YEARS and hav...I have been following this issue for YEARS and have been just holding my breath that my 22-r. old makes it out of his "high-risk-taking" years alive! I'm pretty sure that I remember Dr. Robert Wood of Johns Hopkins saying (at food allergy conference 3 years ago) that he would have no problem prescribing Xolair off-label to a peanut-allergic patient with high risk factors and mild asthma. The problem is that insurance wouldn't cover it. I'm so frustrated at the lack of progress that I might just pursue this option.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4851559164054858621.post-64748182381977663192008-08-29T18:29:00.000-07:002008-08-29T18:29:00.000-07:00THIS MAKES ME SOOO ANGRY.. In January we have at appt at Mt Sinai at the Jaffe Center with Sicherer... and we are asking about this as well as the "new" treatment. How upsetting that our little ones could be so much safer, but for the greediness of these drup companies?Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16143288691186168729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4851559164054858621.post-15845457177540722542008-08-19T19:07:00.000-07:002008-08-19T19:07:00.000-07:00How frustrating! They list all current trials for peanut allergy!

The report from Genetech gave very little (or should I say cryptic) information about why they cancelled they study. I ended up sending them an email request for more information on future trials. And I also asked if they don't have future trials if they will allow the production of TNX-901. I am sure they won't answer!Keri Faddenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16391813379336790486noreply@blogger.com
